IMI Level 4 Award

IMI Level 4 Award in the Diagnosis, Testing and Repair of Electric/ Hybrid Vehicles and Components (Price can be requested)
This award is designed for learners who maintain and repair electric/hybrid vehicles with the knowledge and skills required to work on live high voltage vehicle electrical components and associated systems. It also demonstrates, in a practical way, their knowledge of high voltage diagnostic, testing and repair procedures.

Note: The unit can only be undertaken after successful completion of Unit EV3 Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement and a recommended minimum of 6 months, or by completing the Learner Eligibility form providing evidence of related/relevant experience.
This unit does not cover commercial or domestic electrical installations including charging equipment and cables.

Individuals must have already completed the Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement. It is recommended that individuals also have a minimum of 6 months experience, or complete the Learner Eligibility form, providing evidence of related/relevant experience.
